My main area of work is centred on helping you experience long-term positive change. Together we will work toward making you the best possible version of yourself. I know how hard it can be to break the habit of going nowhere, being too scared to start, and disliking being you. I get that, I really do. I promise you it doesn’t have to be this way. There is a way out and I know how we can get you there. Yes, it takes time, yes it takes a bit of sweat; but it’s no harder than what you’ve already been through. In fact it’s often easier.

I have a proven track record in treatment of depression, anxiety, and stress-related disorders. Using an individualised approach, we will identify and treat the causes of your condition. In this way, your recovery journey is designed to both address and prevent the source of your discomfort. Through teaching you practical skills, effective problem solving strategies, and deep personal insight, we will help you become the best possible version of yourself. Positive Effective Parenting

I have extensive experience working with parents, children, and families. I can help you raise happy and confident children. By teaching you simple strategies and practical techniques you can learn to manage common childhood behavioural issues including aggression, bedtime and mealtime problems, temper tantrums, and disobedience. You will also gain valuable knowledge helping you promote your child’s academic, emotional and social development. Importantly, I will empower you with principles designed to assist you with difficult situations as they appear.

Substance Abuse

The biggest predictor of recovery from addiction is the sufferer’s ability to reinvent himself or herself. This is the essence of my work.

I have a strong and extensive background in helping individuals suffering a broad range of substance abuse issues. I am a key treatment provider with a strong presence at both the individual and group level in Gold Coast residential treatment communities and school settings. Through teaching you the steps to successful personal reinvention, I can help you not only escape the pressure of addiction, but also give you the chance to experience a satisfying, successful and happy life; one in which you are truly proud to be you.

Health, Weight Loss, and Body Shape Satisfaction

I have a lifetime of experience in teaching fitness, health, weight loss, and positive body image. I am highly capable in working closely with both individuals and groups. I have developed a successful series of educational workshops and individual therapies designed to give you complete understanding of the mechanics underpinning health and nutrition. Using easy to understand terminology, I will teach you everything you need to know about achieving a balanced and healthy life: What to do, why you’re doing it, when to do it and how to do it simply and easily. I believe in a balanced approach to personal health. I believe in setting achievable targets and enjoying the mental, physical, and emotional benefits of long-term sustainable positive change. This means no crash diets, no extreme 12-week weight loss programs, and no punishing restrictions. Life is to be enjoyed; and while self-discipline is essential, so too are fun, happiness, and a positive self-image

Relationship Issues

Helping people through difficult relationship issues is a key component of my treatment strategy. Central to our happiness is how we relate to others. Whether you are experiencing commitment issues, intimacy obstacles, partner conflict, negative or abusive relationships, family problems, relationship loss, abandonment anxiety or previous trauma, I will help. We can develop and improve your personal boundaries, historical patterns, partner choices, communication styles, and self-image. We will use proven strategies designed to modify your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. You have every right to experience happiness and security within yourself and with others. Once you know how to do this, you will be able to enjoy happy, healthy, long lasting, and fulfilling relationships.
